Founded by New Zealand artist and designer Natalie Meldrum (of kid’s footwear brand Pretty Brave), Crywolf rainwear is about getting kids back into appreciating the outdoors. With designs that are fun, functional, sustainable and stylish, children aged 1-14 years will be covered come the colder, wetter weather.
When it comes to waterproof & wind protective jackets, Crywolf have three main styles. The magic jacket has a pattern that appears when it gets wet, and returns to its original colour when it dries. The play jacket is a lightweight, unisex design, and the eco-puffer jacket is filled with recycled water bottle fibres instead of down. If your child is after full-body protection, you can’t go past a rain suit (a hooded onesie with snap buttons), or if they just need to keep their chest warm, a 2-for-1 reversible vest will do the trick.
Crywolf’s rain overalls are another popular product. They’re fully adjustable for growth and feature double welded seam technology to keep kids clean and dry from the waist down. Bag wise, Crywolf have catered to all kids. For little tackers, the mini backpack is lightweight perfectly sized for kindy or a trip to the shops. For school aged kids, the knapsack is spacious, with a laptop pocket, bottle holder and padded shoulder straps. And no wet weather range is complete without a pair of trusty gumboots. Made of natural rubber for flexible movement with a comfy cotton lining, they should be an essential part of your kid’s outdoor wardrobe.
